Umbrella Bookkeeping was founded by Gersha who once worked in a premier financial institution in Brighton. It was during her time here that she recognised the need for small to medium sized businesses to have a more cost effective solution for their financial and bookkeeping requirements. We are here to provide businesses with a bookkeeping solution which keeps track of finances throughout the year. This is to prevent leaving all bookkeeping and accounts preparation to the accountant at year end. By keeping track throughout the year, alongside Cashflow forecasts vs Actuals and key performance indicators, it allows business owners with a complete picture of their financial performance and points out areas which may require attention.

Keeping your business on track

We can provide you with everything you need to keep your business on track. Our service can include monthly management accounts, financial analysis and budget forecasts. You will have a dedicated bookkeeper who is here to reduce the duties of your accountant, which will save you on your annual accountancy bill.

We will work alongside your accountant at year end, and provide all of the required information so that the year end process is as streamlined as it can be. This will allow your accountant time to concentrate on devising tax strategies and prioritising your tax return being produced quickly.

Our Prices

We offer a flexible service, for every type of client. Whether you are looking for a regular service or just help with one-off jobs. We offer the following fees:

Ad-Hoc - £25 per hour - This is for one-off jobs which do not require an ongoing service or contract.

Regular - £22.50 per hour - For a regular service, take advantage of our reduced hourly rate.

Fixed Price Rates Available - If you have a particular task that needs completing, and you know how long it will take. This can be used weekly, monthly or annually. This pricing is available following an initial discussion regarding your requirements.
